On the afternoon of January 17 (local time), Shandong Radio and Television Station and Shandong International Communication Center collaboratively held the unveiling ceremony of the Oriental Screening Room in the South Australian Film Corporation, Adelaide, Australia.
中國駐阿德萊德總領事李東、山東廣播電視臺副臺長徐龍河共同為澳大利亞“東方放映室”揭牌。澳大利亞伯恩賽市市長Anne Monceaux、南澳州電影局代理局長Leanne Sanders、山東省政府駐大洋洲經貿代表處首席代表王慎君、南澳州伯恩賽市議員邢云飛、南澳州阿德萊德市議員李晶參加揭牌儀式。
Li Dong, the Chinese Consul-General in Adelaide, and Xu Longhe, the Deputy Director of Shandong Radio and Television Station, jointly unveiled the Oriental Screening Room in Australia. 澳大利亞“東方放映室”是山東國際傳播中心成立后，在海外設立的第三家人文交流基地。作為世界了解中國的窗口，“東方放映室”將通過定期展播優質紀錄片、短視頻等，讓國際友人直觀領略中華文化、齊魯文化的獨特魅力，感受活力滿滿、熱氣騰騰的中國。
The Oriental Screening Room in Australia is the third cultural exchange base set up overseas, following the establishment of Shandong International Communication Center. As a window for the world to know about China, it will screen high-quality documentaries and short videos on a regular basis, so that international friends could directly appreciate the unique charm of Chinese and Qilu culture, feeling the vibrant energy of China.
中國駐阿德萊德總領事李東表示，山東省與南澳州結好近40年，各領域合作交流始終保持良好的發展勢頭。此次山東廣播電視臺、山東國際傳播中心在阿德萊德市設立的澳大利亞“東方放映室”，將打造一個中澳人文交流的新平臺，向阿德萊德市民及外國友人展示山東乃至中國豐厚的文化底蘊和現代社會風貌，必將進一步深化中澳兩國、山東省與南澳州人民之間的文化理解和友誼。希望以“東方放映室”的設立為契機，進一步促進山東同南澳影視交流與媒體合作，為促進中澳人文交流作出新的貢獻。

Shandong Province and South Australia are intimate partner, with close cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, film and television. Taking the establishment of the Oriental Screening Room, a window for the world to understand China, as an opportunity, Shandong Radio and Television Station and Shandong International Communication Center will enhance the cooperation with Australian news media and film and television institutions on audio-visual production, personnel exchanges, international communication and others, and strengthen cultural exchanges, to jointly promote the prosperity of the media industry of the two sides.
澳大利亞五十七電影公司首席執行官Paul Ryan接受山東國際傳播中心記者采訪時說，非常榮幸與山東國際傳播中心共建澳大利亞“東方放映室”。通過這個平臺不僅可以加強項目合作，還可以通過分享來自山東的精彩紀錄片和節目，切實展現山東的獨特文化。讓山東和南澳大利亞這兩個地區真正走進彼此的世界和生活，更好地相互了解，我認為這會很棒。
In an interview with Shandong International Communication Center, Paul Ryan, CEO of 57 Films Group, said “It’s a real honor to partner with Shandong Radio and Television Station to develop the Oriental Screening Room in Adelaide, where we can further collaborate on new projects and share great documentaries and programs that highlight the unique culture of Shandong. Both Shandong and South Australia can share in each other's worlds and lives and get to know each other better. I think it'll be great.”
