In 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China launched the “Discover China Cultural Tour” event.

3年來，89個國家的300余位外交官先后走進北京、重慶等14個省（區、市），近距離感受風土民情、感悟中華文化、感知時代中國。2024年我們再次啟程，相約好客山東。

Like-minded people come close to each other regardless of geographical distance. Over the past three years, more than 300 diplomats from 89 countries have been to 14 provinces (autonomous regions / municipalities), including Beijing, Chongqing and Hubei, to feel local customs, learn about Chinese culture, and sense China in this era at short range. In 2024, we set off again to continue the exploration of beauty in Friendly Shandong.

After reaching the top of Mount Tai, the diplomats felt the charm of the first of the five great mountains.

This is a distinctive cultural journey -- 

外交官們走進孔子故里，感悟儒家文化魅力；漫步牡丹園，賞國色天香；品民俗賞非遺，見證人類文明的靈動雋永。

The diplomats visited the hometown of Confucius to feel the charm of Confucian culture; strolled in the Peony Garden to enjoy the beauty and fragrance of peonies; experienced folk customs and appreciated intangible cultural heritage to witness the everlasting elegance of human civilization. 

這是一場品讀時代的脈動之旅。

文旅融合、鄉村振興……“發現中國之美”向世界展示了中國發展新模式、治理新方式、消費新場景。

Fusion of culture and tourism, rural vitalization… ““Discover China Cultural Tour”  has showcased China’s new models of innovative development, new ways of comprehensive treatment, and new scenes of cultural tourism consumption to the world. 

外交官們一路走、一路看、一路贊，在交流互動中感受中國人民熱情友好的待客之道。

During their interactions,diplomats walked, observed, and praised as they experienced the warm and friendly hospitality of the Chinese people.
